McQuarrie Reflections

Hi everyone and happy Sunday evening!

I want to thank all of you for the thoughtful comments you made in the McQuarrie Reflections you wrote last week. I learned a lot, enjoyed reading your words and was inspired by your ideas! This week, we can all look forward to a few new things and more of our favorite things, for example: 'Discussion Corner' topics during breaks, more discussions on news items and world events, more computer time and new programs - (this week we start podcasts and Flash and you'll get some time to work on the project of your choice), IS or IC (or whatever we call it!) project discussion and planning, and a new iMovie media project that we will all be planning and starting.
I can hardly wait to see you all here on Tuesday and Wednesday!

Ms Watt:

We're (being Kayla and I) thinking about mornings next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, until ~11:30 from whenever. Our school starts at 8:10 or quarter after.
I'd still have to pass this at the office (not sure how though.) Your thoughts are appreciated!

S.T., you sound like a very expresive person ( I dont think your in my class):) My only beef is that WRITING IN ALL CAPS usually means ur yelling which some people might take offensive. Cool it with your caps lock button :P

The railway proplosal was not entirly flawless, because if it was our tribal leader would not have left the meeting and we would not have fought....er discussed the situation for hours. I say this as a completly neutral person who is(or was) not taking any sides.

Come on it was flawless. it keeps both countries involved on friendly terms while making large profits. The only reason the Chief walked out because he didn't understand the nature of this proposition keeping him on our terf

it was flawless indeed. in exchange for a piece of land one country didn't use, the country received access to an international railroad, and profits from all its business. the other country who made the proposal, well, they got half the profits they deserved and received land they wouldn't use either. the one country got more out of it than the country with the proposal.

I think that too make this an equal argument, the ruler of the opposing side and our tribal cheif should join this comversation and state their opinions-coming from the U.N. Mediationr, of course.

Word Up! I'm sitting in Business class with free time! Boohyah!
Yeah... we have a different "assembly day" schedule that turns this period to an hour and 45 minutes long... Gh. All that with nothing to do, so we get one long period to chill.

Anyway, about the chief... I followed the rule of possum- "Quando Omni Gaumus Moritius-" or something ike that- in Latin. Translation: When all else fails, play dead. Works every time.

By office I mean CHCI's office, but I guess we would have to talk to McQ's office about this too. Do we have the A-OK from your end about the times?

Postman: I don't think that we were so much bugging you about the chief thing-more like saying that some members of the group believe that they had a flawless plan and I'm pointing out that the plan was far from flawless, as you did end up leaving and us mediatiors had a very difficult time keeping the peace!!

Hmm... I'm not sure about dreamy... but maybe that's because I heard too many '70s ballads lately. But it's far from boring! You'll love it! And please, do go to CHCI. Respect the Scottish School! No pressure or anything....
Oh, these assembly days... they're unusual. And free time in-class is a laughing matter most of the time. But lunch is always an eternity, and then there's dances and... I'll save it for later! I wouldn't want to come to McQ without something to say!

BoohyahBooyahBooyah! No legal proceedings for Kayla and Craig!!!

Expect to see our plans for when we're coming over posted HERE tomorrow! Excitement...
